According to the farmers of our focus villages, the animals are for them.

1. Money in the bank, can cash any time

2. Source of nutrition for them and for their children

3. Source of farm yard manure to increase the fertility of the soil and to reduce

   the cost of external chemical inputs

4. Women are able to produce products from milk and sell to manage their

    homes/houses’ needs

Farmers stressed to organize regularly vaccination program for their animals, in this context AIM involved techniques and importance of vaccination in the curriculum in the course for veterinary extension workers. Veterinary extension workers providing vaccination service for the cost price only.
