During the community meetings, the women of the area stressed for the project and shared that they and their suffered due lacking appropriate sanitation and experienced following problems.

       Sewage flooded streets are ideal places for bacteria, harmful insects, flies and mosquitoes which are responsible for many human diseases, frequent sickness is disturbing.

       Frequent communal conflicts.

       No social gatherings.

       Social relations are also effecting.

       Due to stagnant water, locations of manholes cannot be identified which causes different incidences.

       Stagnant water is the source of different nitrogenous wastes which pollute environment.

       In rainy season the stagnant water approaches to the houses.

Project was implemented to achieve the following objectives

*        TO IMPROVE THE LIVING CONDITIONS.

*        TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE SANITATION.

*        TO DECREASE THE CAUSES OF SICKNESS AND POLLUTION.

*        TO SAVE THE BUILDING FROM WATER-LOGGING AND SALINITY.

*        TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE SELF-FINANCED AND SELF-MANAGED        DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAMS RATHER TO WAIT FOR EXTERNAL HELP.

*        TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY TO WORK IN GROUPS.

After the project

Women shared that their living conditions are improved, prevalence of diseases are decreased, and social relations are developed and also find decrease in the communal conflicts.
