What We Do ? { Celebration of Different International Days   }

The objectives to celebrate these days are to:

1. To develop stronger interaction with the community.

2. To present that how much their girls achieved the confidence and skilled.

3. To highlight different communal issues with the help of speeches, role plays,

    songs and skits.

MOTHER DAY

AIM celebrated mothers’ day with the mothers of our formal school children, mothers of working children, mothers attending our health and family planning centres and invited mothers. AIM members celebrated the day with role plays, tableau’s , poems, songs, speeches and case studies with the subject of mother, her importance, her struggle and her recognition.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY March 08, 2005

On March 07,AIM celebrated international women day with their women members of different projects and also some invited  non-members because on March 08,AIM is celebrating the day with other NGOs of Faisalabad.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY March 08, 2005

By 30 NGOs of Faisalabad at Zila (District) Council Faisalabad

AIM has the leading role in this joint event

  • 134 women participated (highest number of participation). In total 456 women participated and 322 women belong to 29 NGOs.
  • Carpet weaving girls of AIM’s literacy program presented role play that what they are experiencing in carpet weaving work.
  • Speech based on facts rather of routine speeches.

Why the AIM has leading role in this event?

All coordinating NGOs recognized AIM’s services and suggested to be leader for this event.

 

 

Carpet weaving girls have literacy classes by AIM after their work. They presented a role play for the event on the facts rather of assumptions. Girls that what problems (health, social and economic) they are experiencing while doing carpet weaving. Participants appreciated our girls because they presented realities.
