Community proposals that needed support for the implementation

• Reform and capacity building of existed schools
• Quack’s doctors (for the rural areas)
• Interfaith harmony and peace building programs
• Rural youth development program
• Awareness and rehabilitation program for disable children

Education: Everyone has the right to education. But in our country this right is not given to the every community. Education is very expensive in the areas. People want to get education but lack of the resources and expensive education they can not avail the present facilities. There are school existed but poor community can not have the access to these school because of its expenses. Literacy rate is very low in the area therefore poor people remain underdeveloped.  So AIM took initiative for their educational development so that people who could not afford the expensive education they may also get education through AIM. Now AIM is running one formal school in the area of Ibn-E-Mariam colony that is very backward and underdeveloped area. People had not awareness about the education so AIM team did survey and visited in the houses and met with the parents. They motivated them and asked them to send their children in the school for education. Eventually they motivated them. Parents started to send their children in the schools so not this school has a good strength of student who were away from the education.

How proposal was raised and by whom? But now people who are inhabited in the area they share their problems with the motivators and asked them to convey these problem to their coordinator so that as AIM thought for them in the field of education they may solve this problem also. So we organized various meeting with the parents at their insistence and they share that they are happy that we are running school in the area and children get education. But they said this school studies are up to fifth class. But after the fifth class our girls does not get education in future so they have to go out of the area in the other schools which are very expensive. So if AIM can extend this school up to eight class so our girls could get education in the same school. We will be comfortable about the girls. When they go in the other school in the other areas they face lot of conflict during coming back and going to school. They insisted over this issue to extend the classes in the school but for this work we need to build up school capacity. We have not enough place to manage them in the class. In this way we need to have various things which should be establish in the present school. Requirement for the implementation of this educational capacity building:

Construction of the new classes (labour, Material, etc)

Furniture      IEC material      Teachers      Electricity connection

Quack’s doctors (for the rural areas), rural development. In the rural areas people are still deprived from the health facilities. They do not have the awareness about the medical treatment. People feel fear to go to the doctors so they prefer to check to the local doctors, if someone is present there. We visited in the various rural areas and observed that people have deficiency of resources for the medical treatment. No one is present to treat them well. If qualified doctors are asked to go there they do not like to go in these areas so we discussed with the people prefer to have the medical facility for them. So if the Quack’s doctor will be present in the rural areas they can provide the medical facilities to the rural community. Disease free community will prevail in the area. People will be healthy and strong they can work more and more which will develop them financially and socially. If young generation of the rural area will be trained as a quack’s doctors they will have the opportunities of the work. They can earn money through this skill in the rural areas. Migration will be decrease because young generation migrates in the cities in search of employment if they will get these opportunities in the rural areas they will establish their own work and become the source of income.

Interfaith harmony and peace building programs: In our country we have various types of communities which are inhabited with each other. Every one has its own way of life and ritual and customs not body accepts the others. They always deny accepting the other religion. So this typical attitude created problems and conflict among the society. In our country Muslim, Christians, Hindu, Sikh and Ahmadiyya are present. These all people have different belief, that astray them from each others. This situation is not present in the rural as well as in the urban areas also. In the communities there are various reasons due to which people do not want to solve this problem. This entire situation creates violence among the community. They disintegrate from each other. Unity eliminates when unity finishes development of the community also get back. So for the development of the community it is necessary to bring them closer and promote harmony and peace among the community of different faiths. Reasons of disintegration and violence;

• Lack of awareness
• Different family backgrounds
• Not well communication
• Not good leadership
• Discrimination due to the status

If people have resources they can not use them because lacks of cooperation in the activities remain them behind in the race of development. So due to the wrong perception of the community people create violence in the society and become the cause of others problems.

Activities which can promote interfaith harmony and peace:

• Formation of committee of people belonging to the various faiths
• Communal meeting with the leaders of the various faiths
• Meeting with the community people
• Community awareness in the urban areas/rural area 
• Developmental activities

If community will integrate with each other they will develop communally. Resources will promote. Harmony will promote among the different faith. Every one will respect each other. Mutual work will develop the society and community.

Awareness and rehabilitation program for disable children: In the society people do not include disable children they are neglected in the matters of life. People do not like to sit with them. In the rural areas and urban areas mostly people are very poor. People have deficiency of medical resources, for the medical treatment they had to come to qualified doctors for the better treatment. Some people are so poor and could not have access to check to the doctors so because of not availing the health treatment they loose their lives. We surveyed in the areas and met with the area people. People described their problems and conflicts. For the vivid clearance we organized various meeting with them in which many people pointed out various problem. But most of the people stressed on providing the health facility. At their insistence we discussed among the staff and thought of a work for the disable children. But first we started one dispensary keeping the vision of disease free community. which gave a good out come among the community many of them were benefiting in the area, but after some time it was observe that mostly patients are suffering with the physically and mentally disability means handicapped people but mostly were children so we started their treatment but lack of proper resources and management we could not do much for them. When we ask them how it happened they shared that that is because so some kind of bad evils who captured us means theses people were so superstitious. This shows the ignorance of the community form the health treatment. After facing all these problems, Eventually our team decided to start work for the handicapped children, Because in the areas there is not any place from where they could get good treatment.

Out comes:

ü       People/children will be able to walk and work

ü       Eliminate the conservative thinking and draw out the community towards the medical treatment.

ü       Self confidence will promote in the patient against the physical and mental disease

ü       Alleviate the family burden due the patients care

ü       People will avail opportunities of medical treatment.

ü       Cooperation and integration will promote

ü       Financial condition will develop through the treatment of patients

ü       People will be aware about the prevention of physically and mentally diseases.

In this programs disable children and community will be aware about these aspects.
