Available seed is non-viable, fractured and
non-branded.
2. Available seed is adulterated with other
crops and weed’s seeds.
3. Place for appropriate and viable seed is
not near and unknown.
4. They have to spent day/s to get good seed
5. They are unable to distinguish between
branded or non-branded seed.
6. Adulterated seed make ineffective used
fertilizer, irrigation, intercultural expenses,
pesticides etc.
7. In time non-availability of seeds.
8. Big farmers after negotiations took all
seed from seed cooperation and leaving small farmers
lacking.
AIM is working with 22 marginal farmers in
this project. AIM granted money to local committee for
one time and local committee is responsible for the
annual price hike and also very hopeful that after 5
years they will use the basic money in some other
project because they are raising money from this
project. They have seed before sowing and deposit to the
committee at harvesting.
