AIM’s TB Awareness and Treatment Project

    

WHY TB ?
T.B is still big problem in developing countries and Tuberculosis is a disease, which is still top killer in many developing countries including Pakistan. It still kills a lot of people of all ages, mainly from too poor and too ignorant families.

                                                                  TB Responsible for:

Economic problems

Social problems

Health problems

Gender problems

 
TB Awareness and treatment program will help to solve following problems in the following aspects.
 

ECONOMIC

1.Treated persons will have job, increase in earning of $:414-517 per annum.

2.Increase in workforce.

3.Children will have education and other needs.

4.Health expenses will be decreased by 60-70% of the families have TB patients.

5.Child labour will be decreased by 40-50%.

6.Women will work to increase their family income.

7.Family resources will be increased.

 

SOCIAL

1.Have opportunities of labour or job.

2.Acceptance for marriage or friendship

3.Treatment as the normal person

4.Rehabilitation of relations.

5.Women will have more attention for their children.

6.Children will be saved to involve in different social evils.

7.Recreational opportunities.

 

8.Orphaning of children will be decreased.

 

HEALTH

1.Other persons(10) will be saved from infection.

2.Treated persons will be saved from other diseases.

3.Disesase burden over the society and the country will be decreased.

4.People will have awareness about the TB.

5.Diet have healthy impacts.

 

GENDER

1.Gender relations will be improved.

2.Higher case fatality in women during their reproductive ages will be decreased.

3.Girls will have equal acceptance.
