Background of the Training:
AIM is working with the farming community since 1991 in different
capacities. AIM have different running and completed
programs with the farming community. Rural youth is the
group, always share their problems and proposed
different options for their development. In the continuous meetings, it was planned to organize the veterinary
extension training program due to the following reasons.
1. Livestock rearing is in the practice.
2. Low investment is required for its initiations.
3. Availability of the reliable services is the pressing need of the
community.
4. Source of income in the living area.
5. In the surrounding of their villages, they have big cattle, dairy and
goat farms, opportunities of employment.
What are veterinary, livestock, care, management, feed, need and
importance of vaccination? and different framings. The
daily or training schedule comprises 80% field work and
20 % comprises demonstrations and exposures .AIM is
provided a kit to the trainees comprises BD Syringe,
Teat Siphon, Thermometer and Stethoscope. AIM is also
provided all relevant stationery to the trainees and
also the book comprises all what they are doing in the
field and class.
